Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa…I can’t get that song out of my head.  It’s like this project:  consuming my subconscious! What’s it about, this project?  Rino? Me? Sixteen artists? Leonardo? Nat King Cole? Duchamp?Rauschenberg’s erased drawing?  Jasper Johns’ dictum?

Take an object.                             Mona Lisa

Do something to it.                     Rino

Do something else to it.             Me

‘’           ‘’             “   “   “.               Another artist

“           “             “   “   “.               “                 “

And on, 16 times.

But oh my! Mona Lisa?!
